When washing, always pretreat stains with Stain Solution. To remove odor, presoak the item for 30 minutes in hot water mixed with 1/4 cup of plain white vinegar.
Wash canvas with Signature Detergent on the normal cycle to achieve the deepest clean. Always check tags to refer to the manufacturer's direction before selecting a wash cycle for canvas. Some canvas items should be washed in cold water to prevent shrinkage.
Wash with like colors and fabrics only.
Cotton and linen can generally withstand tumble drying with high heat; however, canvas items (such as tote bags and sneakers) are best line-dried to preserve shape.
To remove wrinkles, iron on the highest temperature setting, or steam.
Always store items clean. Storing in plastic encourages yellowing and can trap mildew-causing moisture, a prime environment for bugs.
