The Laundress Wool & Cashmere Care Kit includes our 16 oz Wool & Cashmere Shampoo, 8 oz Wool & Cashmere Spray, plus our Sweater Comb to depill and lift fuzz.
Wool & Cashmere Shampoo
We recommend washing in cold water. Always test color fastness in an inconspicuous spot first. For machine washing, use a delicate or woolen cycle. Turn item inside out and insert in a Mesh Bag (optional). For HE washers, use dispenser. For standard washers, start machine, add detergent, then clothes. For handwashing clothes, rinse well with water. We do not recommend soaking items longer than 30 minutes. Never use the dryer; instead, lay flat to dry in natural shape and steam as needed. Contains 31 loads as measured to a medium dose. Use a measuring cup or The Laundress Laundry Measuring Cup and follow dosing instructions:
Hand washing 0.25 FL OZ / 7.5 mL
Medium load 0.5 FL OZ / 15 mL
Heavily soiled or large load 1 FL OZ / 30 mL
Good To Know: Steaming is ideal for knits and woolens. Sometimes knits may appear wrinkled after washing, but you cannot iron wool, cashmere, or other natural fibers as it can crush and warp the yarns. Instead, steaming will release the wrinkles and fluff the yarns for a fine fabric finish.
Wool & Cashmere Spray
To use as a fabric spray for knits, mist fabrics with Wool & Cashmere Spray between wearing and washing from 6 inches away. To reduce wrinkles on wool, lay on a flat surface and gently pat fabric smooth in all directions. Let dry before wearing or storing garments. Do not spray garments while wearing. Always test first in an inconspicuous spot.
Sweater Comb
Place your clean, dry knit garment on a hard, flat surface. While holding the garment taut, gently glide either side of the comb in one direction across the garment to help remove pills, lint, and fuzz. Bulky knits need only a light touch, as pills do not cling tightly to the yarn.
PLEASE NOTE: The Sweater Comb is not recommended for use on delicate synthetics or fabrics with knotty yarns or fibers. If you are not sure how the Sweater Comb will perform on your garment, first test in a small, inconspicuous area. Never use the comb on wet fabrics. Remove the excess lint from the comb after each use.

No phosphates. Free of artificial color. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. CAUTION: EYE IRRITANT. Avoid contact with eyes. FIRST AID TREATMENT: For product contents see ingredient list. CONTACT WITH EYES: Flush with water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician. If swallowed, drink plenty of water.
